Product Description

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is an oil obtained from the fresh or mature kernel of coconut by mechanical or natural means, with or without the use of heat, without undergoing chemical refining, bleaching or deodorizing and which does not lead to the alteration of the nature of the oil. It is an oil which is suitable for consumption without the need for further processing.


It consists mainly of medium chain triglycerides which are resistant to peroxidation. The saturated fatty acids in virgin coconut oil are distinct from animal fats since the latter consisting mainly of long chain saturated fatty acids.

Coconut Milk is a white, thick liquid extracted from freshly grated mature coconut meat. It contains fats, proteins, vitamins, sugar, amino compounds, carbohydrates and minerals. Coconut Milk is an important part of daily diet in coconut-producing countries, and valued mainly for its characteristics nutty flavor and nutritional content. It comes from into two forms, e.g liquid and powder.


Liquid Coconut Milk is the white creamy liquid extracted from freshly grated mature coconuts. It can be pasturized, canned, and frozen for re-manufacturing purposes or for direct consumption.


Coconut Milk Powder is spray-dried coconut milk combined with emulsifiers to improve the texture of the products.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Coconut vinegar from coconut water is produced naturally through the natural aging process of aerobic fermentation and is augmented with little sugar.


Coconut vinegar from coconut sap likewise undergoes fermentation but no sugar is added.


Coconut vinegar is turbid white when young and turns to light yellow to clear light brown as it matures. It does not contain chemicals or additives, artificial colorings, and preservatives. It has micronutrients and contains high levels of calcium and phosphorus.


Coconut vinegar contains high levels of calcium and phosphorus. An FNRI study showed that the food energy value is 3 calories per gram with acidity ranging from 2-2.5%

Coconut Sugar also called as Coconut Palm Sugar, is a natural sugar made from sap, which is the sugary circulating fluid of the coconut plant. It is often confused with Palm Sugar, which is similar but made from a different type of palm tree.


Coconut sugar is subtly sweet almost like brown sugar but with a slight hint of caramel. However, since coconut sugar is not highly processed, the color, sweetness, and flavor can vary depending on the coconut varieties used, season when it was harvested, where it was harvested and or the way the sap or toddy was reduced.
